ASU Prep Global Academy + Pathways Support
ASU Prep Global is part of Arizona State University and provides the online coursework and instructional support through ASU Prep Global Academy. Pathways stays alongside the family with academic planning, progress monitoring, college admissions counseling, career planning and personal coordination.
Up to 12 half-credit courses per year, two included ASU Universal Learner Courses, and the Pathways support relationship.
Why the Arizona State University connection matters
ASU Prep Global is part of Arizona State University and operates ASU Prep Global Academy, an online school offering full-time and part-time enrollment.
That relationship helps explain one of the program's most distinctive features for full-time students: access to two ASU Universal Learner Courses during the year. These are Arizona State University college courses that can, after successful completion and satisfaction of the applicable requirements, be added to an ASU transcript.
Two credentials should not be confused
- High school: eligible full-time students can earn an ASU Prep Global high school diploma after meeting the applicable graduation requirements.
- College coursework: the included Universal Learner Courses are Arizona State University college courses and may be added to an ASU transcript when the applicable requirements are met.
Pathways is an independent educational consulting and student-support organization. We do not describe the ASU Prep Global high school diploma as an Arizona State University degree.

Full-Time Program
- Grades K–12
- Up to 12 half-credit courses during a 12-month period
- Up to six courses per semester
- Eligibility to earn an ASU Prep Global high school diploma after successful completion of applicable graduation requirements
- Two ASU Universal Learner Courses included annually
College while in high school
Full-time students receive access to two ASU Universal Learner Courses. These provide an opportunity to complete Arizona State University college coursework and, after successful completion and satisfaction of applicable requirements, add the courses to an ASU transcript.
Program availability and requirements are subject to ASU Prep Global terms and current course offerings.
Part-Time Enrollment
Add an individual course while the student remains in an existing school or homeschool program.

Is ASU Prep Global part of Arizona State University?
Yes. ASU Prep Global describes itself as part of Arizona State University and as the nonprofit partnership arm of ASU Preparatory Academy. It operates ASU Prep Global Academy, the online school used for the full-time and part-time programs described here.
Is the high school diploma an Arizona State University degree?
No. The full-time diploma pathway leads to an ASU Prep Global high school diploma after the applicable graduation requirements are met. That is separate from Arizona State University college credit.
