Personal education support without the institutional handoff.
Pathways was built around a simple idea: families make better education decisions when someone takes the time to understand the whole student and stays with them long enough to see the plan through.
Our story
We’re an expat family from the U.S. We began home educating our kids over 10 years ago when we realized our award-winning system wasn’t meeting the needs of our neurodivergent son. He was highly curious about many subjects and was not geared to sit in a traditional school setting where learning was limited to specific subjects.
We explored many options, curricula, and classes over the years. Travel was always a huge part of our educational method, and access to more structured education became more challenging as the kids got older and needed more specific classes for the university pathways they were on.
I scoured the internet and found much of the information online to be outdated or inaccurate. I began building relationships with university admissions officers, collecting information, researching pathways, and building my first database.
You can do it on your own; we are happy to help get you started, or we can make it easy and handle all of the work for you.
What grew out of that experience

- U.S., EU and UK college admissions counseling
- Career exploration and academic pathway planning
- Housing, visa-process and relocation guidance for students moving abroad
- Support for mobile and internationally based families
Personal education support
We are not trying to be a giant school system. The personal relationship is part of the service.
Listen first
We start with the student and family rather than assuming the answer before we understand the problem.
Research deeply
We check program requirements, admissions systems and practical constraints rather than relying on generic advice.
Connect the pieces
High school, college, career, location and family plans are treated as one connected pathway.
Remain available
When circumstances change, the plan can change too. Families are not left to untangle the next problem alone.
Education should be personal enough to recognize the person.
Whether you need a full online high school, one course, a homeschool plan, a European university shortlist or help thinking through a career direction, we can start with a conversation.
